Key challenges

O2 Slovakia is one of the largest operators in the country, providing mobile and data services to both businesses and end users. The company’s network department consists of approximately 70 people, managing an extensive transport network with over 400 active network devices.

Initially, the department relied on the built-in functions of individual devices for network communication troubleshooting. However, they were only able to process outputs in limited quantities, and lacked the ability to correlate logs from other devices. There was also no solution in place for generating notifications in the event of various network incidents.

Reasons for deploying Logmanager

To improve network communication troubleshooting and enable more efficient event investigation, O2 chose the Logmanager SIEM solution. The main reasons for its deployment included:
